Short Summary

Oliva Contemporary Dance Project (OCDP) is a synergism of passion, audacity and perserverance. Initially founded in Italy under the name “Pantaeri,” OCDP has since evolved from 2004 to be known for its exquisite movement style and visionary choreography. With each dancer’s diverse background, individual dancers contribute to the company’s talent as a whole while still manifesting personal artistry. Michele Oliva and Francesca Dario create choreography that magnifies dancers in their prime and provides room for genuine personality to come alive on stage. The company’s trademark style integrates love, strength, and refinement on one stage; this ensures an long-lasting impression with each performance. Itaiian Artistic Director and Co-Founder's Oliva and Dario are at the helm of this global and ambitious company.

They are creating their first USA full length evening of dance and need your support to accomplish this. They are grateful for any amount you can contribute to help them reach their dream of creating their vision and sharing it in the USA.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Futuristic, athletic, fearless, mesmerizing, super human dancing. All of these words have been used to describe Dana Foglia and her company. Artistic Director/Choreographer, Dana Foglia is truly the cutting edge of commercial hip hop and contemporary fusion. She and her dancers bring incredible classical technique with strength, raw street styles and sophisticated nuance. With her visionary artistic direction, Dana takes the audience to another place, allowing them to feel something almost unimaginable, transfixing them and always leaving them wanting more. From studying at the Ailey School to touring the world with Beyonce, Dana's experience as a performer has always been wonderfully diverse. Her company shares this great depth in their theatricality and artistic mentality.

We will continue to expand upon our already existing platform that keenly fuses Art & Activism but we need your help! In order to produce this show financially, we need all the support we can get. Everything from renting the performance venue, rehearsal space, costumes, etc. all cost a great deal but in the long run will help us spread awareness. Any amount, great or small is put to good use and is very much appreciated!
